- The aim of the project was to draw up a discussion paper on opening up the association to new members and business sectors
- Almost 50 in-depth interviews were conducted with executives from member companies and non-member companies as well as with executives and members of the association’s executive committee
- The developments and drivers (trends) in the hydrogen and renewable energy markets were evaluated and presented
- The market participants’ decision criteria for joining an association were surveyed
- The assessment of the client and other relevant associations in Germany and Europe along the purchasing criteria was determined
- Recommendations for the further development of the association were developed
